Cipla Ltd is planning to set up a pharma unit in Pithampur in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. The project involves reviving the old plant which was non operational. It plans to convert the earlier formulation production facility to API manufacturing facility with an investment of ₹ 1,850 million. The new facility will have reactors, agitators, AOD pump, blender, heat exchanger, isolators, jet mill etc.,
It will produce Fluticasone Propionate, Beclomethasone Dipropionate Anhydrous, Budesonide, Mometasone Furoate, Fluticasone Furoate, Loteprednol Etabonate, Beclomethasone Dipropionate Monohydrate, Ciclesonide etc.,. The total capacity of the plant will be 10 tpa.
