Fortum commissions 10 MW solar power plant in Kapeli

Fortum India had commissioned a 10 MW solar power plant in Kapeli village in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. The project has come under second phase of Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) at Kapeli village and it was nation’s first Greenfield project. The company has used 1,25,000 thin-film modules based on cadmium-telluride technology, for the project. It may be noted, Fortum has already a 5 MW solar power plant operational in Rajasthan.
